- Highly vertically integrated production, with up to 90% of processes carried out in-house
- International sales network with over 50 dealers worldwide
- In-house Atelier dedicated to advanced customization
Invictus Yacht has rapidly established itself as a key player in the international boating market. In this context, Aschenez Holding has now completed a decisive strategic step, by acquiring the remaining 40% stake in Aschenez Srl and becoming its sole shareholder as of March.
“The acquisition of full ownership enables a fully integrated management of the shipyards and the Group’s brands,” says Rosario Alcaro, CEO of the Group. “This strengthens the Aschenez identity, creating the ideal conditions for coherent and synergistic development across different nautical segments. Our goal is to consolidate our competitive position and expand through productive and commercial partnerships, with a particular focus on the 30-to-60-foot segment.”
Three brands, two shipyards, one industrial vision
The Group was founded by Italian entrepreneur Rosario Alcaro with the aim of developing a highly integrated nautical hub in Southern Italy, combining distinctive design, innovation, and direct control over production.
“Today, Aschenez Group owns three brands – Invictus Yacht, Capoforte and the recently launched Marcopolo Adventure Yachts – reflecting the Group’s commitment to expanding and diversifying its offering,” Alcaro explains. “The Invictus Yacht range includes 13 models from 28’ to 55’, Capoforte has 12 models from 19’ to 28’, while Marcopolo Adventure Yachts offers two models measuring 10 and 12 meters, versatile enough to transform from daycruisers to true cruising boats.”
Production is divided between the Borgia shipyard (Catanzaro) and the 3AF Shipyard in Villafranca Tirrena (Messina), dedicated to the Marcopolo Adventure Yachts range. Together, they cover around 20,000 sqm and employ 200 people. This is supported by a comprehensive sales network in key global markets, with over 50 dealers worldwide.
Distinctive design and cutting-edge technology
From its debut, Invictus Yacht has stood out for its recognizable design language and innovative solutions that have influenced contemporary nautical design. Among these, the semi-reverse bow has become an iconic brand element.
“One of the key factors in our development is direct control of the production process,” Alcaro emphasizes. “Today, we carry out up to 90% of manufacturing processes in-house, ensuring quality, efficiency, and operational flexibility.”
The shipyards house all major production phases: from fiberglass and carbon fiber lamination to carpentry, painting, assembly, and final testing. In recent years, departments for electrical systems and logistics have been added, alongside a large area dedicated to upholstery and the Atelier – the shipyard’s creative hub for development and boat customization.
Innovation and advanced materials
All Aschenez vessels are built using advanced infusion technologies and extensive use of carbon fiber, combining lightness, strength, and aesthetic quality while optimizing production efficiency and sustainability.
A key milestone is the GT280 Carbon Look, where the black appearance is not achieved through paint; instead, a transparent finish is applied to highlight the carbon fibre, enhancing its technical, structural, and visual properties. Until now, all carbon fiber components were produced via infusion; this process has now been further improved using prepreg carbon fibre, a technology that highlights natural lines and textures, reduces weight, and optimizes performance.
The result is a more refined, high-performance vessel that is not only more elegant but also more efficient. Furthermore, the new production method reduces waste and environmental impact, thanks to excess resin removal, and ensures a cleaner and safer working environment.
Among other innovations, the Group is introducing, for the first time in nautical applications, structural honeycomb panels – lightweight and recyclable – for the interior bulkheads instead of traditional wood. This significantly reduces vessel weight, optimizing performance and reducing fuel consumption. The next step involves eliminating wood from internal structures, replacing it with high-density polyurethane impregnated with resin for greater strength and durability. Structural fuel tanks have also been introduced, offering superior reliability and resistance compared to traditional models.
Tailored craftsmanship through the Atelier
“Aschenez has experienced extraordinary growth while maintaining a strong focus on product personalization,” Rosario Alcaro explains. “Today, even with production of hundreds of vessels per year, we can meet the most demanding global customers’ needs. This is made possible through our Atelier, which gives clients access to a network of skilled artisans and high-level suppliers. A bespoke journey accompanies the client from the very first stages, guiding them through a virtual design lab where the boat is customized with unique material inserts and dedicated features. A standard vessel thus becomes a unique creation, reflecting the owner’s personality, style, and tastes.”
Within the Atelier, the Style & Interior Design division focuses on sourcing and applying premium materials, selected woods, and refined fabrics, alongside innovative solutions such as carbon fiber use. The Harmony & Atmosphere department creates interior environments with nature-inspired color palettes and lighting solutions to enhance onboard comfort and well-being.
Exterior customization has always been a hallmark of Invictus Yacht, with 17 available colors, metallic or matte, in Classic and Extended versions. Interiors can also be modified within structural constraints to meet any requirement. Finally, the Sustainability & Innovation department ensures an optimal balance between advanced technology and environmental responsibility.
